Homeland

Whenever I travel home, I discover reality rearranged by time.

The old shapes become unfamiliar.

New elements of the landscape challenge my memory.

Suddenly, a small item becomes meaningful, connected to the whole.

The vastness of space shrinks to the domestic level.

As I walk and look around, I relearn my past.

I challenge the rhythm of progressing days with the lens.

Chronology loses its order when form tells the story.
