installations

. . . .

i see them everywhere i look.

site-specific installations, abstract canvases,

assemblages of all sorts.

structures, sculptures, ephemera.

the space is filled with artifacts.

the art pervades the air.

. . . .

'installations' has started as a series of photographs of odd and mystifying objects

taken during the 'pandemic year'.

photographing became the way of coping with closed galleries and locked sculpture parks.

the lack of art viewing, no longer taken for granted, was wearing.

finding a distinctive artwork in the field where i walked was a joy.

it was therapeutic.
